Skindeep Limited was founded in Dunedin New Zealand in 1974 with the objective of manufacturing a range of top quality leather garments handcrafted in New Zealand. The founding philosophy was to provide the very best New Zealand quality Leather clothing.

The same philosophy carries through to the current range of the millennium. Skindeep New Zealand now has a cross section of products from the old faithful to the high fashion garments of today's markets.

Originally aimed at the New Zealand local & tourist markets, Skindeep quickly evolved to establish a network of 36 domestic outlets all over New Zealand, including prestigious tourists destinations such as Queenstown, Rotorua, and Auckland. Skindeep outlets have operated in Australia since 1981, with now 33 retail stores established. After building an outstanding reputation for quality and customer service, our aim now is to allow more customers from the USA to experience our exceptional New Zealand products.
